11 S To Keep You Young and Healthy


1. Staying in a healthy environment. Environment that has lots of trees, free from pollution.
2. Sleep at least 8 hours a day.
3. Sip. Sip like a straw everytime you drink clean water. And drink at least 3-6 glasses of water upon waking up and before taking anything. One way to eliminate most of our ailments. And make it a hobby to have at least 8 glasses of water a day if water intake is not contraindicated to you.
4. Sing when you are so mad.
5. Smile. Manage to smile though your heart is aching and some do not seem to do it. Helps the muscles.
6. Sun. Expose to sun if you have time or take a walk outside. It adds up vitamin D to your body.
7. Sexercise. Sexercise for couples is a very good exercise. Regular exercise at your own comfort zone can help too.
8. Shout out. Expressing out your stress through writing, making blogs, karaokeing or dancing. Ways that does no harm to anybody. Or you can kneel down to pray. "Stress really kills". So, avoid being stressed out.
9. Selection of food. We heard the saying; "You are what you eat". I believed this. People who consumes mostly meat are always hot tempered and sickly. I asked one of my brother; why are you just eating fruits and vegetables? He said; I treat my body as a temple of God and clean. And he looks so young, has cherry lips, his skin complexion is good ( like baby) and he's a good person. Good lifestyle can help a lot. Always remember that "health is wealth". To me, it is a big blessing if I do not get sick.
10. Sad. You should avoid being sad. If you feel sad and lonely, just remember God is always there to help you and will not leave you in times of trouble. This thought keeps me moving on in life. I've been through a lot until now, but I still feel happy because I know God will be there for me and I am not them.  If they do not care, so what!!! God will take care of me.
11. Smoking. Avoid smoking. We all know what smoking can contribute to our health.

There are a lot of ways to keep you young and healthy. Make the most of your life if you like to live abundantly and have a long life. One of my chinese friend told me that to have a long life depends on the size of your ears. According to her; if you have long, big ears, then you will live longer than those who have short, small ears. Maybe true, maybe not. My lolo had big, long ears and he died at the age of 100. But I guess it helps a lot if you take care of your body too.
